The waterfall is undoubtedly one of the most attractive of all the Sierra Tarahumara. The fauna of the site includes endemic birds and many mammals and reptiles. His church, a mission adobe dating from 1733, has just been restored and now shines in all its dignity. The Museum of Art houses an annex to the mission in its 41 rooms paintings considered among the most notable of Mexico.

The Copper Canyon is one of the most fantastic natural features of the world. To get an idea of the magnitude of the landscape in this part of the Sierra Tarahumara, simply quote a popular phrase that reads: “Las Barrancas del Cobre is what the Grand Canyon wants to be when he grows up.” This site is a source of enormous pride for all Mexicans, and in particular for the Chihuahua.

The system, composed of 60 000 square kilometers of mountains, canyons so deep that includes their names have become legendary: Copper, Urique, Sinforosa, Batopilas, Candameña and many others, all of which are beyond the depth of the famous Grand Canyon, this not counting the waterfalls and the unique fascination with the dull murmur of nature trapped by the mountains. 50 km from Creel, El Divisadero is one of the most famous tourist areas in the sierra. That is the place where the Cobre, Urique and Tararecua canyons meet and there are several observation points for enjoying the incredible views. El Divisadero has the best hotels in the sierra which will allow visitors to enjoy these beautiful views while sitting in the lap of comfort.

A striking lake adorned with giant herons and a 15 meter high waterfall tells visitors that they have arrived in Guachochi. Close by is the Piedra de la Virilidad (virility) observation deck where an excellent view of the canyon is obtained. The name of the place is derived from the stone’s phallic shape which stands 30 meters high.

 Located 11 kilometers from Basaseachi, it can only be reached on foot and with a local guide. The paths found there lead to the Huajumar and Cerro de la Corona observation points, which are located in front of the fall on the other side of the Candameña canyon

A few kilometers southwest of Creel and after a trip made largely by road and a small part on foot, visitors reach the bottom of the Tararecua canyon and the Recohuata warm-water spring. An abundant flow of water springs from a rocky bed and flows into five pools which are ideal for dipping into. The water’s temperature is a constant 35 C and there are camping facilities administered by Raramuris close by.  

For the second time and the occasion of the Tercentenary of the most beautiful buildings in the city of Chihuahua shine with spectacular light and sound “Chihuahua Saga II” of the internationally renowned French artist Xavier de Richemont, who last year launched a series of historical scenes on Cathedral walls using bright colors. 
This was unveiled during a press conference headed by the mayor of Chihuahua, Carlos Borruel, who said that these shows are looking to consolidate Chihuahua as a tourist destination in addition to detonate social development through the economic income as long corridor of buildings to be lit. 
Xavier de Richemont announced that next Friday, from nine in the evening, the corridor will be opened with three buildings lit, shows that will be until August 29. 
Again, the Chihuahua can enjoy the lighting of the Cathedral, with the same issues as last year, in addition to illuminate the building on Liberty Street, number 114, which is now a shoe store. 
In that building, Art Deco style, Xavier de Richemont will present his “Theater of Liberty,” a personal view on the evolution of theater in Chihuahua, beginning with the first theaters representing the wooden theater Betancourt, theaters the decade of the 20 European and American influences.
Another is to illuminate the building which is located on Calle Libertad, number 501, which was formerly the Hotel France. At this farm the artist will present a piece called “Crystal Palace” through which symbolize a greenhouse in which the evolution of Chihuahua since prehistoric times including the action of water, the birth of forests, dinosaurs, training in the desert caves Naica, to finish with a tour of the historic train of Mexico. 
It provides a second stage for the month of October with the illumination of the Federal Palace and the State Palace, with topics that will be announced in due course.

There are regions that attract both those who like light hiking, and those who tend to seek intrepid places that require a great physical condition. 

The recommendations for sites are: the Barranca de Candameña where waterfalls are located higher in Mexico, and Stone Basaseachi Bolada La Cascada Cusárare of the Barranca de Urique (Cerocahui area), the Barranca del Cobre, Barranca of Batopilas, Barranca of Guachochi Sinforosa around, and Canyon City Huápoca near Madera. 

The main features that are placed: diversity of landscapes, varying degrees of difficulty ranging from novice trails to gravel roads downhill to Barrancas, and the most popular places where the sport is practiced are the Barranca de Batopilas, Barranca del Cobre, and the region of Basaseachi Creel. 

It is worth mentioning that our privileged geographical location, the game offers long periods of practice from September to June.

 Samalayuca with piles ranging from 15 to 20 meters in height, this is a sport that you can practice all year. 

Recently there has developed another activity in this area, the cycling arena, this new sport is done with specially adapted bikes for sand or mountain bikes with decreasing air pressure in the tires. A special entry that we do is during the full moon desert offers a very special charm, the season suitable for practicing this sport is from March to November, and as discussed above it, preferably during a full moon.
